All shaders written in HLSL for Unity's Standard Rendering Pipeline.
Colorful Toon Shader
This is a custom cartoon shader that adds extra bands of color along the shadows. The colors of the shadows, highlights, and extra colors can all be changed, giving artists full control of each material's look.

Hatchmark Shader
This shader is meant to create a hand drawn effect. There are four regions of shadow, each with their own layer of hatchmarks. As the shadows get deeper, the layers overlap and create a drawn effect, similar to how hatches are added to drawings in real life.
Each of the layers an be moved for better coverage. They are all slightly offset in size and position by default, but artists have full control in case the textures overlap too much. I used this texture for the examples. The shader looks best with something slightly transparent.

Hologram Shader
This is a custom shader meant to create a hologram effect. Because holograms are made of light, it does not receive or cast shadows. This is an additive shader, so it does not obscure objects behind it.
The effect was created by combining a set of scrolling horizontal lines in screen space and a fresnel. They are both projected on top of the original texture. The texture of the lines can be changed. A tint is added to the original texture to make it more cohesive. The amount of tint can be changed. |
